A century ago, when first-time movie goers saw a film where a train came right at the screen, they leapt out of the way, fearing for their lives. That was a silent film, and I’ve always wondered what would’ve happened if—IMAX style—the rumbling of the train was brought to life, too. Would anybody have had the courage to go into a theater again?

While the visuals are the flesh and blood of movies, television, and video games, sound is the crash of lightning that brings it to life—the magic that makes it real. For that reason, bad sound can destroy the best of movies. But good sound will transport you to another dimension! That feeling of being whisked away into an unknown world to hear an incredible tale—that’s what I live to create.
